this one took about an hour and a half. don't ask how long the first two attempts took me. i'll only tell you that it took about 3 seconds to bury them in the trash can. LOL

I didn't know if I had to be on the list, but I have been wanting to try this block. It took me longer than an hour. I started at 11pm and it is now 2:22am. I don't think it came out too bad, however I should have used a more stable background block.

Cannot wait to see everyone elses. I hope it is ok if I just submit a block when I can as I have a few projects going on and I am new at this.

Feel free to critique anyone, thats how I learn.

you don't have to be on the list. you can make the blocks you like and skip the ones you don't like. there's no time limit, either. i still "owe" myself a block form the 1st. i might finally get to it in august. i'll just find the thread and post it whenever ... :P

I like them all. There is no right or wrong way to quilt. As long as you're doing it and everyone does not have to like what you've done or the colors you choose. I often don't like someone else's color choices but it doesn't matter. The more you quilt the better you will get at it. :D

that wasn't the original plan but i got in a big, fat hurry to finish SOMETHING. spent most of the weekend spinning my wheels; printing fabrics for my "takin' forever" quilt; fiddling with block designs; and a bunch of other tasks that relate to quilting but don't result in quilts. LOL

looks to me like i should have laid them out to leave more room on the sides. i use my Tutti Fruiti blocks to practice. the "real" quilt will be 12" blocks in red, white and blue. gift for a friend.

i got some giggles looking your block and Jessiesmom's. not because i think they're funny looking. because i have all your fabrics except the green, and two of the fabrics she used. i guess great minds think alike. LOL
