This is one of my favorite blocks - the Friendship Star. :D Since it's the holiday season, I thought I would pick one that was fairly easy - we have enough we're trying to do now as it is! lol

Thanks Sue. I need to make a bunch of these for another project I've got started. Perhaps this will motivate me to get started on them!
    Joy!

zyx thanks for this block you just save me a lot of time. A friend ask if I could make a quilt for her husband, she wanted 2 colors and it is to be done with corduroy. I have been searching for a simple pattern that would work. Thanks to you I now have it. I hope to do the BOM today so I can figure out what I'll need for the quilt and also get estimate on how long it will take. Again thanks for a great block

Well, Sue, you KNOW I was excited about my son's return...I'm usually sitting here waiting for the newest BOM. This minute is the first I've thought about it. Sorry!!! I'm printing it now, can't wait to make it and it will make lovely blocks for the wounded!

    Hugs,
    Sharon

I know how your feeling. When my son came back I was a wreck waiting for his plane.

Are you sewing quilts for a local group or a national group for the wounded. I am with sewforcomfort and we make clothes. But i love quilt making and would like to look into this.

Tell you son thank you for us all.

Corduroy is pretty tough stuff - how will you quilt through it?
