Well, here is one I did today just to get my fix! I am going to make a real one, once I get my fat quarters.... I made this out of some leftover HST's I had from a quilt I made for my BIL....it was a striped pattern... got some practice in anyway!!

I started cutting about 10pm & had it all finished before midnight! I've always been leary of using stripes - especially in HST, but it wasn't too bad! :D The yellow stripe looks kinda beige-y in the photo, but when you try to take pics after midnight.....speaking of which, I'd better hit the sack, going to the Glendale Quilt Show tomorrow & gotta get up early!

I am so impressed with your stripes. Wow! They really make the block, don't they. I think I would have been cross-eyed by the time I finished that block. The more I look the more impressed I am. And You used it for two postings. Is that cheating?

Thanks Yvonne! Maybe it was working on it so late at night, but it was easier than I expected.

I like your way of thinking. I just wish I'd thought of it first!

Here is mine. This is the first one I've ever made, so I can have some slack, here, right?! It's right at 12 x 12. With a little trimming on the left, it should be better.
POINTS?! Started out ok, but they got blunt. Hope they don't have to shoot through something very tough! LOL!

My first quilt block. BOM March. Blazing Arrows, although mine are dull.

Interesting use of color. I like it. Those points... they'll come back with practice. For now, just shoot butter.
