    tricia,

you sly one, you. Thought you could slip in an extra color didn't you?

Great work, both you and Kathy. I suspect all these women are making blue dominant quilts because they know I like blue. It's my theory, I'm sticking to it and I will pretend to act surprised when the quilt arrives in the mail.

You can pretend. I'll just be "for-really" surprised.

    Thank you.

I think we should all pat ourselves on the back. each one is so different in its own way it's as though we all worked from completely different blocks. and they will all make very respectable squares in our end-of-year quilt.

i like your colors, too. and you don't have to promise us a thing.
mistakes mean we're human. and you probably see more of them than we do. they are the reason G-d invented tomorrow - so we can always try again.

now ... RIGHT NOW!!!! everybody who is stressing over the imperfections in these or any other blocks we've made should STOP!!!!

who cares about a few stinkin' mistakes here and there?

We have the joy of quilting and the fun that comes from meeting, teaching and teasing each other here at the board.

if there's a prize for worst block, i have some in a drawer that would beat yours by a country mile.

i'll bet we all do. if not in a drawer or box somewhere, then decorating landfills all over this great land of ours. LOL

Thats what I like most about this board you good for our ego It sure is batter to be able to laught at your mistakes and be able and willing to try again. It might not be any better but who the heck cares . I do it because I love to no matter what it end up loking like. I guess thats what realy counts and to recipent know there was a lot of love poured over every flaw.
