Thanks for the clarification. I watched that Billie Lauder video over & over and just couldn't convert the numbers. Your numbers helped a ton. I've made approx. 1/4 of my four-patches so far and like the technique very much.

My colors are: burgundy, blue, green with black background and yellow as my 'constant'. I'll post a pic soon.

I'm a bit over half way finished with the four patches. I really goofed and cut way too much b/w. I hope we'll be using some more 2" strips later. If not, it might become a border.

    thanks Judy.
i just heard on Bonnie's quilt cam that these blocks are the only place we will use grey unless we choose to use it for some of the finishing.

Here is my step one all done! I made a few extras to finish up the strips so ended up with a whopping 203 4 patches.

If this is all the "grey" we are to be using I have too much! I only used 40" so have just shy of a whole yard left. Oh well, that just means more fabric for other projects

I think I may have gotten a bit ambitious......I cut ALL of my grey and black on whites into strips. Was having too much fun with my accuquilt!! I hope this doesn't mean I need to go shopping again!! I don't have any more of those colors in my stash!

I'm officially IN!!! Here is a pic of my fabrics. I choose Batiks in purple, red, (suppose to be mustard), cream, brown. They look really bright in the pic... well... yes, they are bright... I hope they work. lol
