So there I am and the cutting directions suck for the triangle on this one, I even printed out the templates, and it was nuts. I mean really nuts, at least for me it was, so I got it together after blessing it really well, so then I decided to give paper piecing a try and see what comes out of it, which I found out that I hate PPing as much as I thought I would, I don't know what I will do if I actually have to do it again, Start drinking early maybe, so here are my two triangles,

Your blocks are gorgeous and I love your points. I also love that reddish purple fabric! Can I ask who puts it out? And I finally found some fabric I have in my stash. I have your blue batik and the multi-reddish one with your yellow block. Gorgeous!

It looks like you started drinking with that first block.  (I sure hope you have a sense of humor!) I can sympathize. I figure if I did the triangle block without paper piecing it, mine would look the same. Your paper pieced block looks pretty good and your other blocks look wonderful.

I wish I had started drinking for the pping if nothing else, the triangles are cut similar but not quiet for the piecing and it was hard to tell what was up. trimmed it will look a lot better,

it was my first attempt at PPing. and I HATE doing it,

With or without a drink, I think you're gonna have to succumb (sp?) to PP or some of the triangles with make you cuckoo!

I actually hated it the first few times I attempted to paper piece also. It's not usually my first choice but when it comes to a hard to piece block I find myself reaching for the paper.
