It just takes more fabric for me to do it and the paper and all, I do have water soluable paper that I could probably use, the block would be a little starched when I was done that is all, but it just is not my thing, though it is more accurate that the first one, I am going to pp the same one in the CW fabrics as I don't want to mess up with them, but I am not that happy about it,

I didn't like it because it takes a lot more time to do and uses up a lot more fabric then I want to spend on a block. And I hated ripping out the paper from the back. I've learned a few tricks to make it easier but all in all I prefer to piece everything without paper. Yet I am now wise enough to know that sometimes paper piecing is the way to go and I'm not above using it to get a block to come out with perfect corners or points.

To each his own. I am glad that there are so many methods so we can all find our way and hopefully have fun getting there.

Now that I'm all about PP I may be disappointed when I have all that paper to remove...we'll see when we get there.

It used to bother me about the waste of fabric when PP as well, especially when something like this which will use so much fabric. But the perfect points and crisp lines are so hard to resist.

If I'm paper piecing with odd shapes, like those triangles, I print the templates and cut each piece out with an extra 1/8th all around. That gives me a little extra for misalignment issues (check it out, my issues have names! ;-) ) with minimum wastage.

I am trying something a little different and so far so good, though I still don't like it that much, (I did cut the pieces as I already had the templates, they wanted cuts with odd angles and the easiest way to get them was to use them. ) We will see, if it works I may use it more for the DJ. *sigh*, it is so much more work than straight piecing,

Well, it worked better than the paper but I am still not liking it at all, but on the up side I have the other triangle done so I have them all done, so here they are,

I am going to have to do something and see what I can to to improve on my piecing abilities so that I don't have to do it,

This is going to be my favorite set that I do, the ones done out of the CW repos, I have to back track now as I just got them and didn't do week one with them yet.
