I don't know about where this forum is exactly, but I just had to tell you that those color combinations for me are beautiful. I know white isn't all that great in quilting necessarily, but this white pops out the pastels and makes them look shiney and clean. The blocks are a neat design and I know this shows my stupidity because I don't know the names of most of the blocks, but these are neat. Bethy

The blocks you're seeing are for the Dear Jane quilt we are all making as a group. Care to join in on the fun?

I can't take credit for the fabric. It was given to me to make the Jane with. I have to say that they are easy to work with. Theybare not what I would normally pick out but so far I love them! Way more than I like the scrap ones that I am doing. Thank you!

And my second set is done, finally! I'll be glad to see the back end of that triangle, I swear!

Have to admit though, that it's come out a lot better than the one I made that's the wrong size, so maybe it's just as well I had to redo it. ;-)

I'm drooling over your blocks, BlueChicken! Fantastic job & lovely colors. I'll not get to mine until this coming week, since I'm trying to keep up with board posts, pick fabrics, prep, etc. WHEW.

    cutebuns

the blocks look amazing and the last triangle looks great.

just remember that jane didn't have the ability to paper piece so there must be a way to hand piece the triangles.

maybe the next triangle you should try and think "how would jane have done it" instead of the paper piecing tutes steering you in a certain direction.
