The last couple of blocks I've made have all be just under 1/8th short, I think I'm getting lazy with my 1/4 inch seams when joining the sections together. But by adding the sashing straight away, I've been able to adjust for it without having to remeasure every block.

Elle, your blocks are wonderful. I love the fussy cut crane - wow!!! And the red just turns it from fab to amazing!!
BC, what does over the top mean down there? here, it can be a bit of both..over the top fantastic, or over the top, as in going overboard, or too much!

Thanks girls, glad you like the blocks. Yes the whole quilt will be Asian fabrics, which I love working with, I love the gold that outlines the patterns.
Tried to think of a suitable name. think I like Jane in the Far East or Jane in Asia, which one? or can you think of something else?

i've always been partial to Eurasian (had DH and i been able to have children they would be of Eurasian heritage).
since your in spain working on a jane with asian fabric you can call it Eurasian Jane.
DH has cousins that are half British and half chinese and they are just stunningly beautiful.
