i'm a bome body too. i used to go out more but as i get older i find i prefer to just stay home and enjoy quilting and watching movies.

i can get very manic with quilting - its not uncommon for me to stay up for 24-30 hours straight designing quilts.

since i've been home from work i've slipped into an odd schedule of sleeping for 3-4 hours at a time and spending all of my awake time quilting.

Okie... my first thought was exactly the same as yours.... "what are those patterns for under the blocks!" LOL

esqmommy I LOVE those fabrics, those blocks are awesome!!

And klue... I can only dream of getting just 3-4 hours sleep then quilting all day, it would be heaven! LOL Sadly, I need at least 7 hours or I'm too scary to live with. ;-)

Klue - Between my Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I would die if I tried to stay up for 24 hours! I'm highly impressed with those of you who seem to live on very little sleep without consequences. (I'd add a bowing smilie here if we had one!) Sometimes I'm lucky to get anything done in a day.

Blue - LOL! I'm with you, I need at least 7 hours of sleep and I can still be scary to live with. Last night I got 9 hours, which is just about perfect for keeping me functioning but really cuts into my time.

I'm right there with you, I sleep sometimes only 2 - 4 hours and after I wake up a bit I quilt and am on the go all day long. I've been known to stay up for a couple of days when I'm manic (haven't done this for awhile tho). I also have fibromyalgia and sleep apnea so it's quite the battle going on inside.

    I love your blocks Klue.

I also love your blocks Esq. The colors are great!!

these blocks look amazing. i just love the fabrics you've used for these.

you should stop pointing out the mistakes, i never would have noticed had you not said something.

She's right esq... I didn't notice either till you pointed it out! ;-)

I'm hoping that if we put aside the blocks we're not happy with and plan on remaking them during the "off" week, that by the time the off week arrives we'll have forgotten the little imperfections and won't see them.

fibromylgia is a very difficult condition to deal with i can only imagine the discomfort you must be going thru.

a researcher in the lab i work at is doing some very interesting work trying to determine the root cause of the condition.

i worked with him for about a year on the project.

he's investing an infectious agent as the cause and strongly looking into a similar agent as lyme disease which is a rather difficult organism to culture in the lab.

thats why it took so long to determine the root cause of lyme disease - the spirochete organism is very hard to find.

i did my PhD at the University that discovered the Lyme bacteria and he was my mentor.
