Just flicked through all of the pages looking at all the blocks, they are all amazing and the different colours and styles really are great. I love them all.

I have to share.... I've just made E12, mainly because it was scaring me so figured best to get it over and done with.

I pp the centre bit, tiny little pieces are fiddly but got that looking good. Added on the two side bits, still going well, but missed one of the points, so I unpicked a portion of the seam and redid it... point still missing, so unpick again and redo thinking to myself "one more shot and that's it". Finish the seam, open it up, and yayyyyy perfect points! Lift up the iron and have one of those "what the..." moments...... I sewed it on backwards! LMAO

I never thought to take a picture, I should have, it was hilarious :-)

I fixed it though, and it went on much better the proper way! LOL

But that gives me an idea.... I know I get a bit anal about perfect points, perhaps we should have a wee "booby prize" for things like that? Best blunder of the week or something? It might take some of the pressure off.

When we do a "night owl hoot" at my local quilt shop, where we sew like madwomen till midnight, they do spot prizes for the best blunder... it's usually chocolate which is a great incentive to sew badly! LOL
