I'm hoping to keep slightly ahead, someone close to us is in the last stages of terminal cancer, so I know at some point in the next month or two life is going to be pretty bad and there'll be a week where I may not be able to sew. So I need to know I'm not going to fall behind.
But perhaps for the sanity of everyone else, we should limit discussions on the next sets of blocks to the main thread?

to all
try to regroup it yourself for practice. use these notes, the pic attached to this post, and the PDF file to help you give this a try.
go to print the foundation pattern for BR2.
make sure its 5x8.
1) click on the "sections" tab.
2) click on "start over"
3) click on the 5 little triangles on the bottom row and then click "group"
4) click on next row of 3 little triangles and the click "group"
5) click on the left side long triangle that spans these two sections and click on "group" and do the same thing for the right side long triangle
6) then click on the next row of triangles (3 across) and click on "group" the flying geese type unit
7) then click on the next rows of triangles and click on "group"
8) then click on the next rows of triangles and click on "group"
9) and do the same for the next rows.
10) then click on preview and move everything around and print.

yes, in the future let have these talks on the chat thread.
i like that some people are working ahead because its nice to have a few people working out the kinks instead of just one.

this way people can make the project fit into their lives and work ahead for the things that might come up.
here's the schedule

I think I'll call mine Crazy Jane - made with Batiks.
"Crazy" because I am crazy in love with this group, crazy cause every color way that I have seen is on my list of ones to do in the future! It's wonderfully crazy!

Here are my four for Past and Present Jane. I had thought I would do one inch sashing, but changed my idea because my newly bought triangle ruler would be useless, and I couldn't cope with 5.58in x 8in triangles for trimming (maths challenged!) I am now back with the idea of half inch sashing to save all the aggro.
Edit: forgot to mention that I went with a variation for I 9 - because I didn't like the outer 'geese' on the original.
