Dear Jane I9, K9, M8, & TR5 pics
#274
Everyone's blocks are looking absolutely great! I was particularly excited to see Lesley's, because she and I are doing the same colour theme: batiks and muslin. Our quilts are going to look totally different, though, because we're choosing different colours for each block. What fun!

If I didn't have these 3 Dear Jane sites bookmarked I wouldn't be able to find any of them.

go to print the foundation pattern for BR2.
make sure its 5x8.
1) click on the "sections" tab.
2) click on "start over"
3) click on the 5 little triangles on the bottom row and then click "group"
4) click on next row of 3 little triangles and the click "group"
5) click on the left side long triangle that spans these two sections and click on "group" and do the same thing for the right side long triangle
6) then click on the next row of triangles (3 across) and click on "group" the flying geese type unit
7) then click on the next rows of triangles and click on "group"
8) then click on the next rows of triangles and click on "group"
9) and do the same for the next rows.
10) then click on preview and move everything around and print.

Here is an idea to keep posting more organized. There will always be someone (hopefully I being one ) starting the next week before the current week in finished. Klue would this be workable; have a post for the current week that shows pics and questions, comments, etc and then at the same time have another post for the next wk, not necessarily pics of your blocks, that way you won't feel pressured into having to post 2 wks at the same time, but a post where those who are working ahead can discuss the next wks blocks.

I finally finished BR5 using the paper piece units redrafted by Klue and BlueChicken. I have been 2 days on this seemingly simple triangle. I am a little disappointed in myself but that will pass. I'm drained so will start the other 3 blocks that go with this triangle later.
Can you imagine how proficient we'll be by the end.
