Yes, there are no filling KLue's boots. Best we can do is keep things in chill mode for anybody who's panicking.

Also, anyone out there, if you want to TALK thru anything, I'm happy to do so. PM me and I'll send you my cell.

Can you make us some capes?? LOL, that'd be so funny, especially if we posted photos!
Our kids are off till the end of January, so I've got a bit of time to get used to the idea of crazy mornings again. Although we've got in the bad habit of not going to bed till 1 or 2am, then sleeping in till 9 or 10. THAT is going to be a hard habit to break! LOL

    How old is she?

One of mine is on the computer, that's her for the day, and the other two are out in the pool, that's them sorted. I'm off to my sewing room! Yayyyyyy :-)

I love that accordian file box idea. Got to get one of those.

At the moment I have a file with the clear plastic folders that you can insert. Its working okay I have to say, but would like to file my blocks in alphabetical when we get going.

I usually print out a colour copy of the block with the template and then go from there. It worked till I got to BR2 LOL I am going to have to make that over it was unpicked so many times it looks awful.

Sometimes it's easier to start again. I use a tiny stitch length for paperpiecing and it's SO hard to unpick!

so here are my blocks for the week, I didn't trim anything yet, thought I would see what I came up with before doing anything else with them,

I did as much rotary cutting as I could, the triangle one I did use the template as it has a strange angle that is not marked on the ruler but still used the rotary cutter to do it.

And then there are these, I am continuing with the same ones for my moms project, only I don't need to do the triangles for it, I need around 30 I think for the table topper,

It is just legal sized paper... not the best way to store it, I know. I just stuck it in a drawer and forgot about them. I like the colors, but some of the fabric is really cheap stuff... not the type I should be putting in a major project like this one. I might redo some of those blocks, though. I was thinking this would make a nice graduation quilt for my daughter (who is 5 right now!). I might finish it, but not do the triangle blocks, or do the triangle blocks for the one I would make for myself. I just don't know. I have to think about it.
