Your blocks are great Klue. Love your fabric choices. I am happy with my red, white and blue choices. The blocks are very crisp looking.

You should be pleased. I love the crispness of the blue against the white. You are going to have one beautiful quilt. What collection is the blue from. I look at my stash and I really don't have any blues. I don't dislike blues but I never seem to buy in the light blues colors. After seeing your colors I may have to look at little closer at blues.

No.... I'm not doing a normal sashing, mine will be the Storm at Sea setting, which means squares in squares and a LOT more piecing. I don't want to get to the end and have to do all the sashing in one hit, so I'm planning on adding mine as I go to minimise the stress and work.
I had no idea what you were talking about so googled it. OMG Will you be using the triangles with this setting. I just saw one at quiltville but it didn't have the triangles. You must be or you wouldn't have made one, Dah! Answer my own question. Will you set the triangles in the traditional way after you have all the sashings done?

I'm so excited! I will be able to make the Jane after all. I've printed out the first four patterns and hopefully I can start this afternoon. Thank You! I feel like my son looks in my avatar :-D

All of your blocks are turning out so clean and crisp. I like the colors chosen so far.

I'm having alot of fun and have learned quite a bit already!
This is the first time I uploaded a photo here so if I have done something wrong let me know.

My outside of these blocks have not been trimmed... I thought I read somewhere that you don't trim it til you put them together. Is this correct?
I think they look really cool!! Great colors.
