Brat: Love the way your two projects are going. My favorite is the"crazy" one, actually that may not be too surprising. Thinking of using more of the border print as a border and then using your piano keys for the next round, have to decide whether the border print draws enough of a line.

I finally nailed down what I'm doing for round 2. I went with Elizabrat's blocks of 4 HSTs arranged as pinwheels. I couldn't decide on colors so I didn't I'm using pretty much ever solid colored fabric I have. It'll probably end up looking like a clown puked on it. I'm still in the cutting and sewing stage.

I am trying to keep things light and easy and hope I live up to my wishes (not always does this happen btw). It is a bit time consuming? but its also mindless that I really like the ability to just.. sew. I used lots of scraps in every color purple I had amazingly a lot more than I thought I did! I think either way the traditional strip like only vertical strips is lovey and my way a bit more.. fun? off kilter? lol is a nice break. I am thinking of a box in a box next round so gulp stepping up my anti. I figure if I can do it ANYONE can do it its early yet so still a whole month to chicken out and go simple simple again. In the end it is about variety, difference of choices, and hopefully fun. I really am hoping for that most of all.

I am hoping with well the weekend being here that some might have the time to do a round yet? love to see your work! its absolutely lovely today a high of 38! and no new snow!! for the next day or so this is ok with me. I can hardly wait for the driveway to get sorta cleared up before the next one comes flying in.
