Jill: Glad to hear I wasn't the only one that became indecisive, not usually my mode of operation. I have finished round #3 and have only about half of round #4 to go. when I'm done with this round it will be 75 X 75.

Emma, can't wait to see round #3.

Quilter65, What a beautiful quilt and what a beautiful heirloom it will be.

It IS surprising how much fabric a round takes. I just ordered some more of one of mine too.

Thimble, I missed why your arm is in a sling. You can't sew but you probably can't wash dishes or vacuum either. Too bad. ha ha

Default Finished round 3 and 3 extra

Finally finished my rounds 3. I angsted over corner treatments but like it now it's done. Final size is 561/2" so a 41/2" block will be next. You are right that as it grows the fabric requirements leap. I was thinking that I could do this from stash but had to buy extra background for the dancing piano keys. Love all the othe rounds I have seen so far. Its always amazing to me how with similar ingredients quilts turn out so differently.

Pippa: Love your corner treatment, it echoes the center very nicely.

Pippa that is coming out gorgeous. Isnt this fun? I am dreading starting my next round as I have clearly stated it will be a ribbon and oh my what a bunch of work that is! but I will start now don't laugh because it will take me a year and a decade to finish lol ok not quiet that much work but still it will be a job in the making because the quilt grew so fast! the larger the center the bigger the rounds are automatically. Its a lovely way to quickly finish a quilt or a lovely way to do a whole ton of work! lol. Its going to be good however. I just have to get off my rear and start it. I am stalling lol finding other things to do.. one thing at a time

I am anxious to work on the next round...not quite sure what to do...maybe some neutral log cabins? Too busy? Pretty clueless here, but with all of your lovely quilts as inspiration, how can I go wrong?

I am still working on appliquéing the blue swirls...
Wow. I love people that have that kind of patience for such pretty designs.

Ok, here is mine. I did the 'exploding block' to follow Jaba's idea. With that type of block, I lose the points, but it was a lot easier. LOL!
