Thanks for the close up, Emma. I was trying to figure out the border between the 2 black strips. No wonder I couldn't figure out what pattern it was! That border fabric is perfect.

Beautiful Emma S. Now I'm going to be looking at border prints differently, too. And stripes.

Pippa & Emma & Reskylr: All are beautiful!! Emma, I love your colors. And you're right, a border print would make a medallion quilt a LOT quicker to do. Maybe that's a new idea in fabrics to collect.

Emma, that is so pretty, I love border prints too, just wish I had some for mine. Still working on it, but started a second one with a small fabric panel I found while clean up a couple weeks ago. Just finished my first round on it. I used some of my hand dyed fabrics for the HST. Have really enjoyed everyones quilts during this quest of ours, looking forward to seeing them all completed. I'll post pictures of my other one soon as I get the next round done, but here is the second one I have started.

Mamahen: Such a pretty panel! Love how you've started. So many different directions you can go in, love open ended projects.

Mama, that is an awesome start for a fabulous new one. I love border fabrics. Fast quick, easy, color coordinated. Winners for sure IMHO.

I am now I believe 1/4 done with my border. It is going to take forever! My next border is in the border section on quilters cache and I THOUGHT I was doing the border Jaba did in a beautiful star quilt she did for her son. Turns out I am doing a different one and its made of so many little blocks! a ton of little blocks to be exact. OMG what have I done!!!!! I will be snipping and sewing for the next decade ... maybe will get half done by the first of next month. its slower than molasses! but.. wont it be pretty

Elisabrat, would it be quicker to start over with a different pattern? Doesn't sound like you are having much fun.
