So happy all of you are still thinking about or finishing your quilts. Finished both of mine but haven't had the time to quilt them yet. I have 2 UFO's, plus some more. Ordered some backing yesterday so hopefully soon. I had so much fun giving you all a few different idea's, love the creativity! You've all given me some too, thank you so much. Hope you enjoyed the "quilt a-long".

YES.... definitely enjoyed this "ride" thanks Jaba & Elizabrat for all the inspiration & I WILL be trying to figure out how to make mine larger or at least a rectangle ... but in the meantime.... I'm piecing a backing for my hot air balloons... haven't taken a picture of the completed top yet... the last border is a fossil fern fabric with both the green & purple & I love it... BUT still have my little grand doggie so am flitting from this to that... Today I bought some backing fabric for another top I made at retreat in April......it's washed & pressed ... and managed to sandwich my Aurifil 2013 BOM today out on the deck...but had to stop between each quarter & rest as it's so humid out there today...
Oops..... got side tracked.... this was supposed to be a thank-you and acknowledgement of your efforts ladies!

I've been googling to see where I got that pattern but not much luck so far. Here is one similar but I'll get back to you if I find the one I actually used. http://www.13spools.com/2013/04/curv...-tutorial.html

Finally put the final border on my peacock quilt today. The double ribbon border took me forever but I'm glad I did it.
