OKsewnsew, yep, I'll add my vote that the new placement works better with the black diamond of your center. But I also agree with you on your first choice about the motion and dimension. I often take pictures of my stuff just to look at it with new eyes.

PB, I like your fabrics but it is really hard to pick without knowing what the pattern will be. I wish your first border, the checks, showed up a little more, and maybe they do in real life. On the other hand, I like that it doesn't overpower your intricate center. See...I'm no help at all.

AH HA, gotter done! Now looking forward to the next border design. Believe it or not, it came out SQUARE!!! Oft times square items turn out lopsided, at least for me!! This is definitely a different project for me..lolo I decided last night that it needed a bit of POW, so added the black cornerstones... I like it.

Looks great. I like the way the black diamond fits right into the pattern.

I like the black cornerstones...it ties the 2nd border to the wide black strip in main block...great job!

Oksewnsew...I love it!! It turned out beautiful I agree that the solid black cornerstones were a great idea for this round on your corners

Oksewnsew, the black and pink is wonderful. I may use your idea for the cornerstones on mine.

Thanks ladies. I'm thinking I kinda like the way it's turning out. Getting the border just right was challenging for me, haha I'm just happy it actually measures as a square..lolo Whew.

(Oh, it is actually a lite red 'toile` looking print that I'm using, not pink. It does look pinkish but close up it really is red..) Once in a while I have to step outside my PINK box..lol Seems everything I make is pink or lavenders and purples. I wanted to do something different this time.

OK: I looks as if it was designed as a whole. Really like it! The block itself is really versatile, I know this isn't the last time I'll use that one.
