I'd love to take the credit, but I only did a search here on the board and then copied the information others had found!

Leakus, I love your shades of purple blocks. I didn't say so earlier & I apologize for that! I was just browsing through the pages again and see a lot of blocks/color combinations I like.

Thank you. I'm having a blast digging through my tub of "bits & pieces" that I save for applique. (Just how deranged are you?)

gmaquilts, very nice blocks! We are glad you joined. I have many books and maggazines and my goal before I retire from quilting is at least create something from each- that way I can tell my husband that I "needed" the book or magg to create it. If you "only" had the book for six month, you did great!!!

LOL, leakus. Great way to justify the book purchases. This one is going to be fun. I was having so much fun yesterday with 1 and 2, I did 3 and 4 too. I'll post pics later.

Yeah!! I finally made my first block last night. I will put pictures up later, but just wanted to tell you that I will not get behind and will keep up this time (if I get behind I might just lag more and never get to it.... I'm bad about that.) YEAH!!

Everyone's blocks are so nice, neat and colorful. Will try posting mine...what I have done was to start in upper left corner, place in on background of possible slashing....
butterfly at Crossroads, Snowball, Whirlwind, Garden path, bat wing & autumn tints, one or two..

Upper left hand corner of quilt, on top of one choice of slashing
