Hi my name is Amazon , I am a slacker :!: Whew, that felt good. I am thinking of redoing these again, thought if I posted , I could get a better look at them. Not happy with them, first one still measures 61/2 x 61/4, second one is fine, but not sure about the color. Any suggestions..... I know..I know...
    ripper out!
On the second one,i'm not sure what the smudge is!Edited..it is fingerprints on the scanner glass, wonder how those got there?

Well, I like the colors you have used....and from one slacker to another...with a little wiggle and tug the first block will be just fine....that is where the ability to adjust by a bit here and there will work out when you are assembling the blocks.

I finally got my book and today I made blocks 1 & 2! I have waited to join this until the book came. Here is what I am going to do: Each block is going to be dedicated to a memory of mine from early childhood to current year. No particular order, but I am starting with a memory of my grandpa and his railroading days. The center block is what his hats looked like and the red is for the bandanas he wore around his neck. And of course you have the rolling countryside in the block too! The story is actually on a thread here about homemade starch! I will be keeping a journal which will document each block with it's memory story. I will not bore you all with each block's story but someday my grandangel will love it!

I myself would actually be interested in the stories. I read #1 and then was disappointed that there was no story for #2!
