I have collected several FQ and snippets of CW prints and the variety is endless. You should see some of the greens! Far from lifeless! QuiltE here are my other 4.

    And that's where I stopped!
Thanks! FOUND you!!! I didn't realize you had started way back when!! They look great, and I can't wait to see them all together in the 1-25 post. Of course, like me, we'll have 25 done, sooner, than 1-25 will be done!

Now I'm getting a better idea as to what Civil War fabrics are, and will keep an eye as you move forward with them.

Thanks :-) for being so welcoming! The CW fabrics really go all over the place if you think about the antebellum period as well as actual 4 year span of the war when times were really tough.

Took time to cut pieces 3 and 4 today so be on the look out!!

Hi All, I hope it's not too late to start! I ordered the book today, and in the meantime drafted the first two blocks in Quilt Pro for Mac. Here is my Attic Window, paper pieced.

Oh fun, Nicky! I have used 3 of those fabrics (the center blues) many years ago! Glad to have you aboard the FWS train.
