Another nice pair of blocks. I like how you choose your colors. Many would have opted for a yellow or orange in the first block, but you chose to keep it cool with the blue. What process do you use as you select your fabrics?

Thanks oksewglad! I just pick what I like and what I think goes together well. With some blocks I search the internet for the meaning behind the name and look for original colors and use those if there are any.

And so ... Anael is starting the FWS .... <clap><clap><clap>
    How wonderful!!!

What a pretty pair of blocks to start off your new venture.
So that makes "how many" samplers you are working on at the same time?
I'd go absolutely crazy trying to work on them all at the same time!!!!!!

Well I can't say about Anael, but oh know you guessed it. My son was trying to describe me to his girlfriend (whom I've never met). "My mom," he tells her, "you have to experience her"! Poor girl wonder what she's thinking when she comes to visit in late June.

OMG ..... I hope you asked your son just what he meant by that!!!

He'll either have her dreadfully fearful of THE Mother .... or totally enraptured with intrigue!

QuiltE, sounds like a son! Aren't they just the most unpredictable and wonderful things?

Anael, It seems I viewing your blocks in backward orders. I haven't read email for a few days, so the latest threads were first on my email.

I love the blocks you are doing. They remind me of an English garden. Keep at it!
