    Darcene,
I feel the same way. I will adapt as you did. Thanks for the plan!

Here are my blocks 3 & 4. When appliquing the handle down, I unpicked the seams and slipped the ends down in and then restitched my seams.

I am also going to do mine a bit differently. It has to look good for all of us anyway. <G>

Pati, in Phx who has blocks 1,2,3 and a couple of others done. But no pictures yet.

That's what I did with the handle ends, too. Yours are very nice blocks ... in fact, almost as nice as mine!

    Here's my blocks 3 & 4. I have to re-do the handle on the basket-it's lumpy. Love everyone's blocks-great color choices.

Here's my 3 & 4. That handle was not fun. No wonder I've been putting off finishing it. I ended up using a pencil and tracing over the machine applique template onto my block then hand stitching it down. Is that how you're supposed to do it? I've never done applique before and now I know why. Thank goodness there's only one more handle on this quilt!

Suzanne57, your blocks, including your basket handle, look really good, so you must have done it right.

suzanne, I love your basket block with the daisies and your handle looks fine to me. Remember we are all learning as we go I'm sure there will be challenges and new things for all of us from time to time. Good job.
