Woo Hoo blocks 7 and 8 are finished, just in time to start the next two.
I had so many problems with Birds in the Air, I unpicked it three times before I was happy with it.
This has been a challenge for me to try and make this quilt as true to the original as possible, they are colours and fabrics I would not normally use, so thank for the pushing me outside my comfort zone.....

Nice job Mirabelle and everyone else. Nice 'eye' candy before church.
Isn't it funny that alot of us are using similar fabrics and colors? How'd that happen?
I found some FQ's of the main fabric I am using and her price came down so will be ordering that so as to not run out of fabric that I really like. Also have to get the backing before it runs out.

Boy, that Birds in the Air is getting to me. Arrghh. Will redo it this afternoon and work on 9 & 10. Then homework.
or homework then sew? Oh my.

Your block is really "the look" if you know what I mean. Nice.

7 & 8 - The outside fabric on the bouquet block is thin enuf it came out a bit wonky - but trying to keep at least values close to sample pics so far

I was wondering. The quilt is called Farmer's Wife but there is not a block by that name in the quilt. there's the F daugher and the F puzzle.

I checked BB and found the F wife and it is a beautiful block. I will include that in my quilt.

BTW, I have had it with these litttle six inch blocks lol. Now I remember why I stopped doing Dear Jane after the 15th block.

I am enlarging to 15x15 and will pick 20 blocks or whatever it take to make a nice size quilt and call it done lol.

Since I already have 22 little blocks done. I will make two rows of those and incorporate these between the big blocks.
I am sewing up the FW right now and will post it soon.
