I was challenged to try and make the entire pp block so went out and got the additional fabric WOW what a difference but boy was alot of work! But I am so happy with the results!

Thanks for the little encouragement to push myself.

I am so very excited for you. Well done in taking a bigger step. The end result speaks for itself :P Love your fabric choices - this is going to make a LOT of us rethink our choices and that is including me.

I posted a question concerning the "unfinished" size of this star block and didn't get any replies. My block came out smaller than the "unfinished" 12 1/2" size. I want to make another block due to the fact that my points don't match up as well as I would like them to...I'm learning to PP.

Mine too...12 x 12 1/4..So I'm going to wait on bordering the "Star" until the end and see what size the others turn out to be and what can be cut down to match a specific size with or without border...

Sooo - hopefully attempt number 4 will be a success!
Here is number 4 - my first ever paper pieced block!

    What fun!!

I'm sorry no one answered your question. If you haven't removed the paper, that could be taking up some room and it would press out larger after the paper is removed. Mine I did as standard paperpiecing was a little smaller than 12-1/2 but I was able to size it up where it should be. The one I did the freezer paper method was 12-1/2.
