Sooo - hopefully attempt number 4 will be a success!
Here is number 4 - my first ever paper pieced block!

I'm sorry no one answered your question. If you haven't removed the paper, that could be taking up some room and it would press out larger after the paper is removed. Mine I did as standard paperpiecing was a little smaller than 12-1/2 but I was able to size it up where it should be. The one I did the freezer paper method was 12-1/2.
I used the freezer paper method and removed the paper but it still came out a little small. I'm sure it's my fault since I'm just learning this pp mehod. I'm going to redo it. Thanks for the reply. Everyone is doing such a wonderful job and all the blocks are beautiful!

AddieLou - love your choice of colors. !!!!!!

Don't know if I have that kind of perseverence Just finished the farmhouse block. I'll have to rest a while before trying something else new to me.

I was determined to get it done. It was my 4th color combination (as well as sewing attempt!) and it took me almost as long to settle on the colors as it did to make it!

I was scared of the houses!

Here is mine. One thing I learned was not to trim the outside edges until all four quadrants are joined. I came up a tad short on the lower gold piece.
