Yin and Yang Sue intrigues me. I knew you'd come through Tiffany! :D You have until forever to create, so don't stress yourself!

Oh that's really cute ceannastahr! I love how you did the landscape in the background.

All of the Sunbonnet Sue and Bill blocks are darling. I haven't gotten to that block yet but now I'm inspired. Thanks for sharing.

    Hello to the Sunbonnet people!
I have not participated in your group but am in the process of making a quilt for a G-Grandaughter out of Sunbonnets.
I have greatly enjoyed looking at your px as they progressed. I guess we never get tired of the Sunbonnets, no matter our age.

Karen May, I love the way the ribbon is folded into a flower on your last Sunbonnet's hat. Did you do that from scratch? GREAT looking flower!

Mine are done with needleturn applique. Thanks for sharing your px.

I can't take the credit for making the flower Riley!.....It was one of a few I had left from making bridesmaid dresses years ago, so I thought I may as well use them up! ( they were bought ready made)...

It is still a great flower, whether you made it or not. Ms. Sue looks good in her finery.

I was hoping you did ribbon embroidery. I am hoping to try my hand at that soon. Bought myself a book & some silk ribbons...

I am reposting this because I had originally posted it in the wrong place--just under pictures not under the block of the month. I have not been participating in the BOM and it was coincidence that I made this one at the same time everyone else was working on Sue!
Sue was a pre cut figure that I bought 6 or 7 years ago along with about 15 or 16 others of the same size on EBay She is about 22" high and I enlarged Eleanor Burns' pattern of Bill so he could stand next to her. The quilt measures about 36" square. It went to a former coworker who had a baby last November. The flowers and butterflies were fussy cut from another piece and fused and stitched to the top. Front and back are both flannel.
