Wow! They all look great! I'm loving the batiks! Might have to add some in to mine as well. Hmm... Here is my Aunt. Should finish up Augusta tonight or Thursday. I have the sections done and clipped together ready to sew. It was a nice break to have Aunt this week, but I'm finally getting workflow together so it is going much faster now. Any tips for which way to press the seams for Augusta as I'm joining pieces?

You are so right Husky, it take me forever to choose the fabric, only because I have too much lol.

Here is what mine looks like..some of these seam intersections are quite lumpy and I'll probably undo some of them and change the directions so they lay flat after the paper is removed..

I love these blocks you all have done! I hope to have some time just to finish up and get caught up!

I hope I can finish mine up too Sue, and I have one to redo that I don't like at all. Keeping the hope alive thought, that once of these weeks I'll be able to post finish blocks the day the thread goes up.

That is my hope too Huskyquilter, I am about the same place you are. Going to do April over. Here is my Aunt and Augusta is cut up and ready to play with tonight. Stopped by a quilt store on my way home from a meeting at work today to see if there was any 30's fabric I couldn't live without. And of course there was...

It was nice to have an easy block this week! I see a few more "easy" ones coming up! Hurrah!

Pam, I love those flowers in your block - I always look for prints that I can use many different colors with!

Well, I finally visited twiddletails.com and, well, got myself in a little trouble! But it could be much worse. At least they are pretty affordable. Pam, I also kinda settled on a theme, so now I'm going to be debating about if I want to redo all the blocks I've completed. Sigh. I'll at least do another Aunt. We'll see...

Well when I see all the beautiful blocks coming out, it kind of makes me want to rethink the 30's fabric but then I invested too much in them and they are growing on me so I am going to stick with that. Plus I know I don't have the color and fabric choosing skills that I am seeing here...but I am learning!
