GrannyQ, You have a lovely selection of greens. Green is my favorite color. Your quilt is going to be stellar!

Don't know if it was mentioned, but GrannyQ used blues a nd purples for her previous FWS quilts...we oohed and ahhed then, too.

Pam, your 30's fabric is so cute.

You girls are tempting me to use 30's fabrics... but I made a D4P quilt top with 30's prints, so I already have a quilt using them. I did it with white (it was a block swap on QB). Those prints look great with white, so classic.... So, I thought I'd use scraps and anything-goes with this quilt top. I've decided I don't want to set the blocks like it shows in the book, sort of in zigzags. I'm going to set them on point.

GrannyQ, please post a picture of your blue and purple FWS quilt for us newcomers to see so we can ooh and ahh about it too!

Thanks Givio, I have to admit that when I first bought them (I had none so I bought a selection from Keepsake Quilting), I wasn't sure I would like them but I have grown to like them quite a bit. I look for them everywhere now.

Pam, I have the purple/yellow flowered print that you used for Belle. :-) Oh? Are you looking for more? Our LQS has a selection of 30's prints. If you would like me to take a picture of what they have, I could do that, in case you might be ready for some new choices, maybe in a color you haven't got much of, or whatever you fancy. They have both the pastel and bright varieties (last I looked). If you like, I'd be willing to buy pieces to equal a yard or two and could send you that in trade for whatever you have in your stash that you might like to send me. I'm low on prints that have pink, orange, red, or yellow.

That is really nice of you Givio but I don't really need any more just yet, I am just having fun looking for them bc I never knew they existed prior to joining this quilt along. I recently bought some at a quilt store in Amish country, and I have 4 quilt stores within 10 miles of where I live if I get the idea I need any more lol.

I love those. Little lambs. The other block is cute too.

I think they look like poodles, but maybe they have hooves and are lambs. The cowboy print looks darling too! Wish I could see more of it-- it's sort of a teaser the way it is. :-)
