QNSue ... you've given us a dream home-quilt-home for our Spring Break!!

DublB ... that's the way I was last Friday. Hit the drugs heavy, got a good night's sleep and poof! gone!! ... now hope I am NOT jinxing myself for another bout. I'm just SO glad to hear/see you are here and OK. I just watched pics on the news of the Texas tornadoes today blowing the 18 wheelers around in the air! Had been wondering how close they were to you? ... and was hoping you were A-OK! It's ever so good to see you here!

This should be a FUN holiday week ...... do you think we'll get any quilting done?
I'm way, way, way far from Dallas & Ft Worth. ( 5-6 hours away.) Texas is very big. We didn't even get any rain.
We need rain. If ya'll will look at a map of TX & find Lubbock (in the panhandle.) Draw a line straight south from Lubbock. Then Draw a line dew east from El Paso. Where those lines cross is Midland. About a hundred years ago Midland was the Mid-Way train station between Ft Worth & El Paso.
I've been praying for all of those in the Metro-Plex area. (A nick name for Dallas & Ft Worth.) I bet those people were scared!

Yesterday, I did finish putting a binding on the second of 2 charity quilts that the local guild sent home w/me. I've gone to 2 of their charity meetings. I think that I might join. I also did git my Captain's Wheel finished & 2 of the pinwheels for my Clover Leaf done. I'm gonna ta try ta finish my Clover Leaf taday! DH will be home tamarrow so I will only git a little sewing done. On the trip I'll take my GFG ta work on. I think that in the hotel room (while every one settles down,) I'll prep & press some more Hex's. Who has time ta do that at home?

Ok, the patio fireplace was lit tonight in the screened in area, so bring your hot dogs and marshmallows on down to enjoy. Also have hot coco and hot apple cider (with or with out cinnamon sticks) and sticky cinnamon rolls... giant ones. Theatre room is open for viewing shows of your choice of three..., Dancing in the formal entertainment area, and teens are off in their own music room. Quilters who wish can stay in the well-lighted patio area.

Waffles for breakfast with sausage or turkey patties, eggs, and your choice of syrup. Coffee, tea, juice, toast, and giant cinnamon rolls again.

Lunch will be grilled salmon, dill potato salad, and broccoli. Chocolate or vanilla ice cream with brownies for dessert.

Dinner will be southern fried chicken, mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, green beans or corn, fresh dinner rolls, homemade, of course. Pineapple upside down cake. Your choice of wines, coffees, tea, or soft drinks.

QNSue...this has to be southern hospitality. I feel completely spoiled. You are the hostess with the mostest...the Pearl Mesta of QB! What fun.

Somebody pass me some more marshmallows.

I've got a question. We all have a tendency to abbreviate each others board names. Do ya'll have a preference how you want ta be addressed? I like abbreviations. What do ya'll think??
