JeanieG ... yes, I've done that some ... also the window hole that I mentioned in an earlier post. I think it was OKSGlad that talked about the X across the PP section and on the fabric too. I've done that too using the 4 corners and the centre of the X to stabe with pins and get it all lined up. It's all easier when the FC is the 1st piece of a PP block/section ... when it goes on part way thru ... tougher! I know that the more I do it, the easier it will be, so it may become a little overkill on FC for this quilt!

JanRN ... Patches is such a lucky dog! You really should put a pic of his FWS quilt on the "official" thread! Yea for you and starting to do your quilting. I'm contemplating it this time too ... just not sure if I feel I have enough experience to want to do the PC that way. I'll have to get you to show and tell as you get started ... and inspire me to go for it. (although, I know I want want to do more practice ones first)

Wow I have missed so much of the chat for this week, strawberry shortcake yummmm, reminds me of my childhood when my grandfather used to grow them and my grandmother would slice them in half and sprinkle icing sugar on them and let them sit in the fridge until dinner time when we would eat them with home made icecream...Unfortunately they won't grow where I live.

April love your blocks, hope you enjoy the pony ride

Hey Ya'll - I've stopped by, by & by to enjoy all of this eye candy. I have loved looking at all of these wonderful blocks. I do have my substitute blocks done!

    Grandmother's Favorite (I simplified it)

I also got my QOV panel in the mail.

I think that I'll cut the Lone Stars out, border 'em & make other blocks out of 'em.
The Eagle will be my center panel.

QNS sent me these awesome fabrics.

    Aren't they wonderful?

    You bet ...
QNSue is a real sweetie, and she makes us all happy little quilters!
There's been so many people here who have shared their stashes, I'm just overwhelmed with all the kindnesses that have come my way!

Beautiful blocks and love the fabric. QNS shows us all a lot of love. Is the eagle going to be the center of your Pony Club quilt? Wow-that would be awesome!

I am blushing like a teenager....you all are just too kind. Hey, I still have fabric left here that needs a good home...so send me a private PM for more fabric...and let me know your favorite color, theme, or if you need a little horse or two.
