Phenomenal work, MiraB ... what a variety, outstanding work ... and I'm sure brought tears to the Liaison Officer when she saw how "special" you made these quilts. I bet they are way beyond anything that she expected to see. And here I am with tears in my eyes, so happy for you, and those who will receive them. They really will help brighten their days during their illnesses.

Well my suggestion is to "circle the wagons", clear one out just for sewing, another for cooking, and one for socializing, etc.!!

yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! More to cook for, more stories we can all exchange about our families, recipes and quilting stories and patterns!! Honchey, you may have to use your "bull horn" to get everyone's attention at the virtual RV round up campfire or the fenced in patio area I can see. No bugs. I hate bugs 'cause they love me too much.

Reality is harder to face some days. Our faithful GMC professional grade 4x4 broke down again yesterday on the way to dh fishing buddy and my quilting friend. There were other plans for the $$$ instead of that cable that engages the gear shift. Best news was it got us to the mechanic and no towing bill. Our best friends picked us up, the guys went fishing, then she brought us home. Part is ordered and will be put in next week. Will see what happens today. Life is always taking us around another curve in the road. Maybe extra time in the quilting room will make our days a little brighter. Maybe I can get some photographs of 30 blocks....to post.

QNSue...sorry about the GMC. Sounds like nothing keeps your DH from the fishing hole though. Do you get to fry the catch?
