Ditto ,Carrie. Both block patterns are favorites of mine and your fabrics really set them off. Well done.

Oh how cute Lucky Star is, and I love what you did with Mother's Delight! MD is gorgeous!

Oh so pretty QE. I really like how the blue sashing allows the Lucky Star to just float in its setting.

    Thanks JeanieG and OKSGlad!!

I've been working on more blocks with non-yellow out at the sashing edge.
Seeing it together, I think I would have been better with a little less contrast in the MD yellow/gold, and a fabric with some movement in it. The LS animals were fun to do ... and some squirrels and chippies from that fabric are coming up in a future block. Of course, it'll be dedicated to you, OKSGlad!!!

Are you saying that I'm a little "squirrely"? Good thing kids aren't seeing this for they would surely agree

Great blocks, QE. Yes, I'm liking yellow. Mother's Delight is one of my favorite blocks-so many possibilities with it. I like the contrast you have. What a fun walk looking back at these blocks.

Seriously, JanRN ... I'm so proud of you ... yellow, x-black, PPing!!!!!!! And very soon Queen of the S16. Your quilting already is exceptional, just think what the S16 is going to have you doing next!

OKSGlad ... aaaah ... but they might be lurking and KNOW!
