Nice bright blocks to help cheer you on as you care for your horse, FryGuy.

You should include some photos of your hourse in your future blocks, as
    QNSue has done

Love the pink and green with your black horse, fryguy. Great placement of FC horses in the second block, too.

    Sorry about your "Bud".

Cookie - beautiful blocks, the turqupose made them shine.

Fryguy - I'm so sorry to know about your horse problem. Our pets are part of the family. Last August we put our lovely dog down. My heart is still broken. It was the hardest decision. She was with cancer. It was better for her, but not for us. We miss her so very much.
Love your blocks. Beautiful horses fabrics and great colors combination.

Fryguy, your blocks are stunning!! I love the colors and the beautiful horses.

I'm so sorry to hear about your horse. I've had to put down my share of pets throughout the years and it's so heartbreaking. What I do is try to keep them comfortable for as long as possible. Good luck and take care.

Fryguy, I love your blocks. That black horse makes your block very dramatic.
Sorry about your pet horse-we're going through health issues with our dog and it's hard to deal with (and expensive). Wishing you well.

Default Best of All/Sashing and Cornerstones too!

I decided to add a little light blue fabric as you can see from this block and my "Betty's Delight" block. This makes block #14! I cut some of my sashing/cornerstones today too. I have added pictures of those below.

Carrie; Your Best of All is lovely! Your contrast is in this block is the best. Both of those sashings & cornerstones will make your blocks pop!

Oh what fun to see your sashings along with your new blocks, Carrie! You are doing 2 quilts right? Both sets of fabric will help frame your blocks nicely.

Best of All, is definitely, Best of All, CarrieM!!!
Your sashing/cornerstones look so great ... I bet you can't wait to put them on your blocks.

Are you going to alternate blocks for the two quilts?
Or the first 45 for one and the next 45 for the other?

I wasn't sure about the light blue when I was buying my fabrics at first, but now am happy I added a lighter color.

Yes, I am doing two twin-sized quilts.

I have known longer that I was using the red sashing, so most of my blocks "pop" better with that at this point. Now that I have the blue I will do some for that. Initially yes, I was going to do the first 45 for one, and the next 45 for the other, but now I will just decide based on which sashing looks best (and hope that there aren't too many for one quilt! LOL

I am VERY excited to get the sashing on and take a picture of them all laid out.
