Thank you to everyone for your kind words. This is why I decided to go ahead with the PC sew along. Everyone is so encouraging, no quilt police here just a wonderful group of ladies all willing to cheer us on. just like the FWS

Thanks for the freezer paper tut Dubib. I've wondered how it worked when I heard people talking about it.

Good tute, Bev.....Thank You. I have saved the site....not sure if I understand the concept of the fabric use......I am referring to the sizes to cut or use. I now use the Carol Doak method so there is very little waste. I cut my fabric "prior" to sewing and line up the edges......how do you determine how large a piece you need for each piece....especially if you are lining up pattern? (sorry to be so dense)

Helloooooo Everyone ... NO I haven't abandoned ship! Just have had a busy week!

    I knew
Honchey was out of the wagon and on the trail, so knew you would be well taken care of by the Momma Bear!

    Lovely fabric there
    Honchey!!!! *giggles*
And while yours is more muted than
    JanRN's ... I still think it's a perfect combo of fabrics.

JanRN and Honchey ... I'm honoured!!

DublB ... I have times like that when all seems to keep going wrong! That usually tells me to STOP and walk away til I'm more "with it". It's going to be a beautiful block ... and thankfully that wrong seam you have caught before you had more seams sewn!

    As for that 10% ... I am 1% done!
This weekend, FOR SURE, I'll be back on the PC trail and will get this week's blocks done ... if nothing else!
And hopefully will stick with the posse from here on, and catch up on the earlier ones before long.

I'll catch up with y'all (and all the posts/threads in the meantime) later tonight or tomorrow ...
Good News though, one project is in the bag! And now I have a simple deadline today.

QuiltE...I was wondering if you got caught by some outlaws or something. Glad to hear it's only a busy week.

Here's my Best of all. I still have to do Best Friend but I think I'm not going to make it this week. I will catch up later.

Here is my second block for this week. Honchey

Well, I love the colors you chose for this one, looks like Spring time for me.

Anael your complementing colors match the boot square so well.
AECasa what lovely color combinations. I am a big fan of blue and yellow and your Best of All block is just fantastic.

On another note I was web surfing today and this looks like a fun block for anyone
    http://www.winnowing.com/babyboot.html

    And one for the Canadians

    Sorry, no Brazilian flag.
