I hope all who are mothers are enjoying their children in some way today, whether in person or in thought! :-)

Progress with the sit-down machine... finished the queen sized quilt I have been trying some custom quilting on. I took an intentionally shadowy picture so you can see the quilting. Will take a full picture once I have the binding on. So many fun memories with these scrappy 9 patches.

Oh I like this SBG...nicely done! I have a Baby Lock Crown Jewel...a basic LA...I can do pantographs with the laser light also stylus. Have the bed extension to do ruler quilting as well as the wheel locks for channel quilting. No computer generated designs. I'm waiting for more time to play, but not gonna happen for a while.
Worked for a couple of hours this morning, now heading outside to get some more yard work done. Later today have our final guild meeting with a dinner at a local Mennonite site. Have a good one.

Thanks, OK. I bet the Crown Jewel is nice. I am just so used to fmq-ing on my Juki2010Q that I thought it would be an easy transition to a sit down machine. And it has been, so far.

I've posted the new thread for another 9 Patch swap, if anyone is interested. Last time we had a ball and got some beautiful blocks.

Good luck with your swap, SBG. I think your did a good job spelling out the rules. I only have been in one...and I will pass on this one. Too much here I need to do if I can find the energy and make myself struggle to do it.
Would like to finish at least six quilts before December 31st of this year. I pat the fabric everyday...have made two 6 1/2 blocks yesterday, so that is more than I have done in a long time...third one is started. Just 92 to go yet.
With dh help we got the RR flower bed cleaned out for Mother's Day gift to me and I love it,but oh I do ache in my back and knee joints and can hardly walk. Have a great day every one.

Another time I will join you SBG...so many ideas so little time!
Lucky you to have help in the flower beds. I was so pleased on Saturday after coming home from an all day, MrOK was mowing the lawn...wow that never happens. Guess too wet to work in the fields... he's gotta do something!

QNS do you have a little gardening stool? Those, and the pads for knees, can really help with strain on your back.
