I had a wonderful time today. I got the borders for the Walk About quilt, the sashing & cornerstones for On Bear Creek (aka On Ringo Lake), 2 of the 9P blocks & the block for a 12" block swap I am part of, all cut out. I loooove going to the Sew & Share!

Yes DM's foot is broken. We will see about getting her a boot tomarrow.
Well DD will be tending to that as DH & I are going to his late cousin's house again.

Bev too bad the foot is broken! Hope she heals well in the boot.

Can't wait to see your Ringo Lake/ Bear Creek finished! Looks like you have made a lot of changes. I made changes too. Didn't like peach and aqua so I made mine orange and royal blue. I also skipped the on point setting and did a straight setting, which eliminated the big triangles all the way around. Instead I did a zig zag border around mine. It looks different, and I love it.

I finished up quilting the interior of Ringo Lake tonight. All I have left is the zig zag border and I've run out of ideas. The lady teaching the FMQ class on Friday invited us to bring unfinished quilts to try our new skills on. I'm going to bring that and ask her for suggestions on quilting that border. It's close to done... finally! I know you started late, Bev, but I started with the group at the very beginning... so it seems to have been in the works forever.

Hey Mousie it is good to see ya hanging around.

    Here is my ORL layout.

It still has some tweaking that needs to be done but so far I am pleased.

Love your colors, pattern and lay out Dublb. You are looking good there. Even your 'inspector' has agreed on it. Pretty cat!

Great ORL, Bev. I like the alternate 9 patches you are getting. My ORL is nearly finished being quilted (just have the border to do), and Jeanie is about to quilt hers, so I think we'll be seeing lots of ORL soon!

I am so glad that ya'll like it. My cat was driving me crazy last night as I was trying to take this pict. He would mess one area of blocks, I would shoo him away, fix those blocks, turn around & he would be messing up another area of blocks. Finally he was in this area, I could see the pattern, still so I snapped the pict.
