    It is quilted!

This is the minkie back. I used it for the quilting design.

These picts are closer in color than the one I posted yesterday.

Looks great, Bev! How smart of you to use the diamond pattern in the Minkie to do the quilting.

I went to my guild meeting & the went to the Sew & Share at the LQS. I showed my DN's quilt at the guild. The on to the LQs & I had left that missing part of my Lone Star there. It was just waiting for me on the design wall where I had left it.

Good idea, OK...we need a 'like' and a 'love' button.

Thanks for all the nice words. I have pasted the templates on cardboard for the next row on the Bible Sampler for the next row. More Y seams coming up.

Dublb, lovey quilt all ready for the granddaughter. China's fabrics are going to cost more, so it is said. The cotton crop in Texas failed so cotton fabric will be higher priced, too. Gas has already jumped up due to tropical storms. It is the poor farmer, of course paying more for gas harvesting their crop. No increase in retired people's pay, so we will cut a little deeper on our month budget again. Life does get interesting.

My Niece must be doing well as she has been moved to a dormitory & is now classified as an "out patient." My DSisIL hasn't picked up the package as they were so busy moving yesterday. If they get mail they have to pick it up from the mail room. She will be passing the mail room as she goes to get her treatment today. Then it will be Tues till she needs another treatment. DB has already gone back to Springfield MO.

A quilt we made 20 years ago for a friend of our son's who was getting married. Today, he sent me this picture to tell how he and his wife loved it and still care for it today on their 20th wedding anniversary. That is a well loved and cared for quilt. Quite possible this quilt will out live us; so it may be true that our quilts we make may out live us. That is a good thought, because who will remember how clean how clean we kept our home that long. So, don't worry about house, go ahead and quilt. Yes, it is a Stack 'n Whack Quilt with a ribbon border.

Love that beautiful stack and whack, QNS, as I’m sure that couple does too.

And thank you for that permission to ignore the housecleaning and quilt!

What a lovely quilt! It doesn't look 20 years old.

What a lovely thought from your friend, QNS. So heartwarming when a gift is so well received!

Last night I got a new apron for work...had a small rip in the old one at the pocket and was catching it on the screws that hold the cutting mats together. Better hustle as it's a work day.
