You are humming along, QNS...just have 3 9P done.

#3DS is up the road visiting the kids before they go to bed...only chance they will get to see them on this quick trip.

Will be looking for the bfly quilt, dublb!

Great progress, QNS. You can always make your hubby's Quilt of Valor. I'm working on one for my hubby right now too.

I started sewing the Piecing the Past BOW, Double Irish Stars... after cutting out all the pieces yesterday. She has a really great method for strip piecing this quilt. It goes together pretty fast, once you have all the cutting done.

Here are my first 3 block sets. Each set has either 3 or 4 blocks the same (most have 4).

    These are fabrics/colors I'm using:

Lovely fabric combos....do you always make a chart similar to the one you shared for every quilt you make?

I like the way you chart your colors, SewBizGirl. The quilt will be lovely, cannot hardly wait to see it. I often do that and find it helps me. Like in the floral double Irish Chain that I have started. It is still awaiting for me to finish it. Meanwhile, I am using up stash in my BS Christmas and traditional red, white and blue BS. Steps three and four, then putting blocks together in five and six I think.

No, I've never made a chart like that before. It's part of the pattern and she said to do it... so I'm trying it. It does help me keep things straight.

Sewbiz, Your Private Message box is full!

Hi Guys, Dropped in to say Hi to all of you. I've been busy with my quilt group and working at the gallery and making easy quilt tops.. I'm here in NC for another two weeks then back home to the grindstone. I do check in to see what's going on, just staying in the background.

    Happy Halloween to you all!

I was thinking of sending you a note, wondering how you fared through the rain/water/wind of H Florence. You must have came through unscathed. "sew glad" to hear from you, A! G
