I am taking it one block at a time 'cause that is easier way to construct the block in my opinion. Thanks, OK, for the complete list of the pattern. Especially if its scrappy construction that I am doing with the Christmas theme.

Great BS blocks, QNS! BS looks great scrappy.

The kids all left yesterday and the house seems so quiet with just me and the old man knocking around in it again. We had tons of food and ate leftovers through Saturday. All that’s left now is turkey meat that I will use in a soup or something.

Hope the snowstorms aren’t too bad. Stay warm and safe, everyone.

Parts of Iowa got 11-13 inches of snow dumped on them. It is cold, down to 7 degrees and 11 degrees last night. We were lucky just to get 4 inches of snow. Three more blocks made, plan another one today making five of each.

OH Wow QNS, that sounds awful! We are still having yo-yo weather. A few days ago our highs were in the upper 40's w/almost freezing temps. Today we are supposed to get up to the lower 70's w/lows in the lower 40's. We will have 3 days of that, then it will drop again.

Our weather is pretty much the same, Bev... we have yo-yo weather all winter here. Today is supposed to get up into the 60's this afternoon but it's really cold out now.

Sue, hope you don't need to get out in that snow. Great weather for staying in and sewing.

QNS Lucky that you only had 4"...other end of the state got a dusting. MrOk and FarmerSon were okay about that! But the cold...It might have gotten to 25 yesterday...ground is frozen deep enough so fall tillage is at a standstill and has been for a week or so. Keep plugging away at the BS...I have been derailed by getting some things ready for our Quilt guild Christmas meeting as I'm on the program committee...had a nice get together on Monday to work on it.

Weather prediction is a big warm up on Friday and Friday night....above freezing...so our snow will all go, then rain moves in. Dh hates the cold and the mud. I did clean up the QR, so he has room to sew on his kilts...trying to keep peace and goodwill going 'cause Christmas is coming.

We do not put up decorations or trees in our old age; done that in the past and that is where it shall remain. One month left in this year. Time has been flying by, the older we get the faster it seems to fly.
