Thanks for the welcome everyone. We got home the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I don't know what happens to my subscriptions, they all of a sudden stop coming! Without those notifications, I get busy and forget to go to the QB and checking in! So sorry!

Well, start of another year, and I have the same hope again this year to finish more quilting that I've started. Jeanie, 13 quilts to be quilted! That's about the speed I go at my home too. I've sewn up tops, and they need to be quilted...

Great bag, SBG! What purpose are the thin end handles put to? It seems like the thick side handles would be enough. I love that fabric-- I think it is in the line of fabric from which I bought a jelly roll. It's a soft sea green background? Not sure on my monitor, but it looks like the print I liked so well. I still have the jelly roll. It's one of those cases where you love the fabric so much that you keep saving it for just the right project, so you never use it and it's always there in your stash, just waiting to be used. lol

My bag fabric is from Thimbleberries. I got that and the green lining at Marshall's Dry Goods on the bolt ends tables, the last time I went. The reddish fabric I bought at JoAnn's. Those skinny handles on either side are for moving
the bag around on a table, or you can pick it up by them... tho they serve a dual purpose. Annie, the designer of the bag, found that she could not get nice results by ending the binding at the top corners of the bag, so instead she just carried it all the way around, creating the little handles. She uses that technique on several of her bags. You wouldn't know that if you didn't watch her Craftsy class....

Use your jellyroll! I have to admit, I have some too.

We have had nothing but rain, rain, rain here for days. Our water tables are full, so each new rain brings flooding. My route to work yesterday was flooded. I am going to Memphis for the weekend for DIL's baby shower, and the rain is supposed to be done for a few days by then. Hope so! It's still raining today.

Wow, 4 borders!!! I have not done Clue 6 yet, but am almost finished with Clue 7. Yes, I agree with SBG - the black will be wonderful Bev! Now I am anxious to get Clue 6 done, then can start putting it all together.

Today I got the Star Spin Quarters sewn & actually got 5 of the Star Spin blocks completed.

This is the layout of both blocks.

Here is one of the Star Spin blocks. (Hmmmmm, It seams that when I took the pict I cut off the seam allowances. Rest assured they are there.)

That’s beautiful, Bev! How about a sneak peek at yours, Jeanie and Sue?

Sue you had said that you had a layout in mind. Do ya still like it now that Bonnie has posted the reveal? Can ya post picts of your layout or some picts of how your blocks look w/Bonnie's layout?
