Belated Happy Valentine's Day, everyone. Givio, your supervisor sounds like a real sweetie.

I'm sewing blocks for the Boom swap today. I'm only in one group this time, and somehow just want to get it over with. Maybe because I want to get back to baby sewing and finishing UFOs. Granddaughter #1 is due on Thursday! We will be tearing back up to Memphis, just as soon as she makes an appearance.

I've had the blah's the last few days & haven't sewn any. Well DH & I have to go to Brownwood to get some of his eye ointment. There is a shortage of it & that is the closest pharmacy that has it.

Snow is on its way again early Wednesday morning; and again on Saturday. With luck we might be able to get a few groceries in between winter storms. Dh is having neck pain again, so trying to help him when I can. Canned 11 pints of apples Sunday. Did my laundry today, did genealogy yesterday. Love how Family Search sends me messages that gets me going again on it. 'Hey, its your 3rd grandfather's birthday!' Of course, I have never heard of him, so I have to go take a look...and then look some more. Love their free service too.

Wanting Spring to spring forth. Time light savings time is coming. Grrrr. So happy we are not having to go to work every day or milk cows. There are a few advantages of being a senior citizen. LOL!

Very pretty Christmas Burg, QNS. Your piecing has gotten noticeably better since you got your eye surgery. It really helps to see, doesn't it?

Yes, it does help to see SBG. Not finishing any quilts this winter, but doing a little more piecing. Seeing a picture of it makes me see things differently too. Ok, enjoy those grands. They grow up all too fast.

    Thanks.

    Your piecing is excellent!

SBG- you mentioned mindless sewing. I've been doing that with my Mom in rehab and it's helped me a lot with all the overwhelming stuff. I just can't focus on anything I have to think hard about But sewing has been a Godsend during down time. I'm working on a flannel quilt for Mom and a kit from Craftsy that I already cut and put into bags so it's just sewing up and not figuring out.
I'm trying to figure out this section of the board. Can anyone give me a synopsis? It's very interesting!
