We got the first coat of paint on the deck on Tues & the second coat on this morning. Then this evening we got some sprinkles! Not rain per se, just a few drops here & there (on my newly painted deck!) I'm so hoping that it was completely dry. Our temps got up to 74 today but it was cloudy all day & was only above 69 for a couple of hours.

DD & I took her DMIL home. The trip was just a lovely drive. The wildflowers were everywhere. Especially the Bluebonnets! I drove most of the way down there except in the Austin & the Houston areas. DD only drove through the Houston areas on the way home. I went ahead & drove through Austin on the way back. We took the highway that I know & according to DD's GPS, there wasn't any bad traffic. We drove down there yesterday & back today. I loove DD's DMIL's house on the bay.
The only bad thing about the trip is that DD felt bad the whole trip. I think she even ran a temp at about midnight. We slept on an air mattress. When she came back to bed after a trip to the bathroom, she had chills & her forehead felt hot. She was better this morning but felt bad again on the way home. We did get home by about 9:00.

Been a little tied up here! My daughter went into labor 10 days early, and after 36 hours of labor had to have a C section. Little Ivy Wren was born on Monday night, 4/1. Yesterday her 5 week old cousin came to visit her in the hospital... so here are my double blessings, side by side... brand new Ivy on the left and Millie on the right!

Congratulations! Such wonderful news and glad that all went well for little Ivy. What fun they will have growing up together...they say cousins are your first best friends! Enjoy these beautiful gifts.

Oh SBG! I am so excited for ya! There isn't anything better'n DGK's!

I got my computer back & it is acting up differently. If it is unplugged it will randomly shut down. We have to take it back.

Lucky grandmother SBG, two lovely wonderful babies, both look fabulous and healthy. So much much fun dressing up girls. I can see the future with both sleeping over with Grandmother and having so much fun.
