Those irises are just stunning! I especially love the yellow. Hope the rain didn't ruin it.

Here is the fruit salad I made for my daughter's baby "Meet and Greet" last Saturday. I had seen it on Pinterest! Ha!

That is soo cute, SBG. Love it.

I should have sized the flower pictures down. I did the two pictures of quilts in the guest room. Tried one with out the lights on and one with the lights on. One was to dark and the last one was 'washed out' . Barn Quilt.

Awesome quilts, QNS! Those barns are so pretty.

I've been doing the scrappy Irish Chain QAL with the group on the board, and have put together this top. It's a children's I Spy..

So fun to see all the projects big and small, flowers and baby fruit bowl too! Cute.

I got my craft room put back together today (since I packed up stuff for 3 people to sew for 3 weeks). Also made some graduation cards and got that stuff all put away after. Now my room is ready for quilting the sunflower D9P this weekend (didn't get it sandwiched yesterday like I was hoping).

I love everyone's pictures! The quilts & flowers make me smile. Well that watermelon was just too adorable also. I'm bushed today. That demonstration just wore me out! It did go well but I'm so glad to have it behind me. My bathroom is all tore up. I"m looking forward to them getting it all fixed up. Well I'm gonna head to bed now.

Yes...lots of pretties shown! My early dwarf iris are blooming..if I remember it's an orange delight. When I was in grade school (1960's) my mom and I went to Gma and Gpa's farm and dug up a yellow iris and moved it to our place. I moved a root of it my garden in the 1970's. Mine didn't make it one year, but I lucked out as I had given my daughter a root in 2000's for her first home garden and now have roots growing from hers. They sure have traveled from Iowa to Minnesota to Iowa to Wisconsin and back to Iowa! Those are just budding...a soft yellow.

The Grands love the bleeding hearts. Sunday I found a heart dissected on my dining room table brought in by 8 yo Sam.<3 He had all the parts..rabbits, slippers, magic wand carefully laid out.

    Great I Spy quilt, SBG!

Gosh I have been so busy this last week. First I was getting ready for my class on Tues. That went well. Then I was getting ready for my cousin reunion this weekend. All of this while my bathroom is in the process of being gutted & remodeled. The cousin reunion is gonna be small. That's OK. W/the bathroom outta commission & everyone having to go upstairs to use a bathroom, well it's better this way. My house is clean & all the sewing stuff is out in my building. Also all the bathroom stuff is out there too. How did all that stuff fit in the bathroom? I did get my DGK's to help me clean & now I owe 'em some $. I didn't pay 'em for helping me get the stuff out to the building as I felt that was just because there were people coming. But I did pay for the vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing the other bathroom, & cleaning off the kitchen counter. The problem is that they couldn't get to the paying chores till the stuff was outta the way. I had 'em bring me the stuff & I put it away. That way I can find it later. Now I have a nice clean house.

My cousin reunion went well. It didn't last through Monday like I had hoped but that is ok. I started trying to get my #4DNiece's quilt quilted. I still have about a quarter of it to do. I also bought the Minkie blanket for the backing of DFGD's quilt. It still needs a border. I will then get out my PC blocks & get those blocks printed up. Getting everything cleaned up has helped me organize my mind.
