Sorry for yet another hurdle, Bev..

Just the Grands for T or T, Cindy Lauper, Cleopatra and Capt America showed up. Waiting to see a picture of the NC Grands...Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and R2D2...country living doesn't bring out the ghouls and goblins.

JuneBillie, you look even prettier in the new photo! We live way off the beaten path too, so that's why I love to come to my daughter's to see the trick or treaters. They were so cute last night. It melts my heart when they say "thank you!" We had about 50 kids... way less than last year, for some reason.

To answer your question, we live 3.5 hours straight south of Memphis, just south of Jackson MS.

Bev, it's a good thing you are looking out for your mother in the hospital. No telling what would happen to her if you weren't! Hope they find the source of her infection and fix it.

Kassaundra, there or was three Farmer's Wife books written by Laura Aaron Hird that we have done the latest one is FM 1930 book which some are still working on it. Before that was the Farmer's Wife Pony Club and the FW Sampler Quilt. We are just discussing our current quilt projects as the others finish up their FW 1930. I am getting the PC quilt back this month from the LA quilter.

FWS Pony Club is Farmer's Wife Sampler Pony Club Quilt. It is a book by Laurie Hird

    https://www.amazon.com/Farmers-Wife-Pony-Sampler-Quilt/dp/0982910479

that we used as a "follow along" quilt. We have done 3 sampler quilts by Laurie on this site.

Understandable! FW does stand for Featherweight.... IF you are in the vintage sewing machine thread.

Bev I feel for you with all the things you and family are going through with your dear mother. It was similar for our dad.

SBG thank you for the sweet comment. We live about 5 hours away from Memphis. I live in Scott County TN. which is far east from Memphis.

After the holidays I will be back on my FWS 30's blocks.
