I got the first clue of the neutrals in a four patch...today she was to give another clue, I think. Maybe you know JeanieG.

JuneBilly, no package today. Sorry. Don't know what happened.

Guess I don't know much. That kind of a day. This too shall pass.

JeanieG, Thanks for the tip! But... I couldn't find it. Can you give the link?

If you get lost you can always go to http://quiltville.blogspot.com/ and the last button in the header is the "En Provence Mystery" button. Once you click on that a new page opens with links to each clue as they are given. So far, all that show up are the Intro and Part 1 links.

You really only need to go every Friday. She will have a new clue up every Friday up until the big final reveal on New Year's Day.

I've been making my 4 patches. I'm kind of pushing the envelope with my neutrals. Hey, if you can't push the envelope with your quilting, when can you?

I posted a tute on QAYG too.. they are all somewhat similar. Mine is in the Tutorials section. I used that method to put my Boom quilt together. It was really fun that way.

SBG - Looks like the way I did mine. I think I used school glue and heat set it before I sewed it, then it did not slip. I SITD on mine. Been a number of years since I did this.

QNS it says your package is out for delivery today, and it gives your address area now. Just a slow time with it so close to Christmas now.

Have any of you seen about the horrible fires in Gatlinburg, TN in the Smoky Mountains last night? It was horrible.

We got some rain last night which was so needed, and they got some finally too. Before the rain it was high gusty winds. It's pretty and sunny outside today in the 50's.

    Have a great day everyone.

JeanieG, thanks for your help! SBG's method is the one I'm familiar with. The method I used was with the quilt in 3 long panels, and no sashing. I think I'll try again with a different method. Checking out the videos!

That is a long thread! (The QAYG Challenge thread). I wish she had put the pertinent instructional parts in a separate tutorial on the tutes page. You have to go through the whole thread and all the conversation to follow it.
