Good morning, ladies, and an apology for not being able to do the RR. I was looking forward to working with all of you again and will definitely do the new Laurie Hird project or anything else we decide after the first of the year. As Anne mentioned, I've been asked to do some quilted items--table toppers/runners, bed runners, wall hangings--for my cousin's B&B. It is such an honor because the entire B&B features all hand made items including the stained glass windows, hand painted sinks, furniture, etc. I'm humbled that she likes my work and wants to include it. But I'm already having anxiety attacks wondering if I can meet her expectations LOL. If yinz don't mind, I'll post pics as I get things done so you can give me honest opinions of the item. Luckily I have my 50 Fab Stars all done and ready to be made into some things; I didn't want to make a large quilt out of them and know they would have ended up in The Box. Now they'll be put to use. Hope you all understand and let me continue to be part of this PC ride!

Yes, I think that's a good idea Nina, It seems we have been wandering for awhile now and need time to get back in the groove.. until then..be happy, creative and don't forget to stop by once in awhile...

Anne, her quilts are usually easy - I just loved the last one that I made into a tablecloth. It also would make a darling baby quilt (very quick & easy - just used one charm pack & yardage). This one you can get caught up really quickly, no problem! The posts are #1, #339 and #714! Come join us!

I am so tired tonight. Finished up last batch of tomatoes, 5 quarts more finished. Five gallon bucket of Granny Smith apples are in two pies, apple cake, cookies, and three pint jars. Mess is all cleaned up and things put away (thanks to dh's help). Now to freeze pie, cake and cookies tomorrow..

I joined a charm swap for fall...sign up before 15yh of November. Found 28 different fabrics (posted picture there) to cut the charms from; a twist is also charms out Halloween or food...I chose to do food. So I am 'cutting up' tomorrow.

Have a new kitten, named Nutmeg. She's a real sweet gal. Light colored on one side and dark on the other side, like half and half...beautiful fall colored fur.

Pro Quilt came out with a new weekend order, mixed things up, and offered two programs. Foundations classic, volume I, and Borders...on sale, and yes, I did order their special again...to download them on my computer.

    Is this the one?

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...p-t254479.html

I've been peeking in and dashing out lately.
Last night finished the binding on a 9P for Avery. Should've taken it on our trip to Madison for World Dairy Expo yesterday, but since I drove half of it and I napped a fourth of it and it was dark the other fourth I guess I wouldn't have gotten much sewn! Will take pictures and show later today.

I'm like Jan, really don't want to take on another project as I'm on a mission to get UFO's, WIP's, whatever one calls them, under control.

Later folks and have a good weekend!

    It is this one: http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...me-twist-t2539
48.html needs ten people to join it. I am cutting charms from my 28 plus fall fabrics in my stash.
Told her I was shopping at home in my stash for the fabric. LOL!
