Hey ya'll. We are back from Brady. DH wanted ta hunt tamarrow for his B-day & the lease is close ta Midland. It was a restful trip. We didn't do any work while there. Alright we did cook & wash the dishes. We watched a lotta movies.

As for When we do the tree. We are always late. We didn't git it up till the 23rd & it'll probably come down some time in Feb. LOL
New Year's traditions used ta be Game Night for New Years Eve but when the 2 oldest left home it was harder ta play games w/just the 3 o' us & #2DSon discovered the Marx Brothers marathons. There always seems ta be one on New Years Eve so we may play a game or 2 & then watch the Marx Brothers all night. We do try ta eat black eyed peas ever New Years Day

Sorry to hear you are sick, Honchey. Good that you are seeing the doctor. Hope you feel better real soon.

It is coooooooooold here. Finally up to nine degrees. Good time to stay inside and work...or not work and just relax and rest. Happy New Year to all.

Hope you feel better soon Anne! I'm still fighting my cold as well. I agree QNS that it is a good time to just rest. It is 55* here right now at 11:19 a.m. That is really cold for us on the sunny CA coast. It is sunny by the way, with a cold storm descending on us. All our citrus, strawberries and raspberries crops will be getting the wind machines and smudge pots working tonight.

With the cold..are we glad the year is drawing to a close? Still working on EOY work. I'm afraid my life is not very exciting right now. Take care of yourselves all.

Still struggling with the sinus situation..my head feels like it's going to explode..got a shot & meds from the DR...fell asleep in the tub last nite...one thing is better..my eyes no longer itch and the swelling of them is down..now they look like apricots instead of peaches but now they have a strange brownish tinge to them around the edges...I'd take a selfie but I might scare all of you ...

Another year is on it's way out and I sincerely hope the new one is better than the last....

    Happy New Year All !

    Happy News Year Ya'll!
I burned up my favorite iron! I guess it wasn't prepared for an all day pressin' session. Sigh. I have been pressin' blue Fat 8th's & runnin' 'em through the GO. I got about half o' what I wanted ta do taday done. It's a good thing that I have another iron. I'll be back in there tamarrow pressin' & cuttin'.

Good morning and Happy New Year! Hope all of you are well and/or recovering quickly. There's so much flu and upper respiratory illnesses around. Wait--I don't have to worry about that, I'm retired LOL. Looking forward to another year on PC trail and visiting in the virtual RV. Enjoy today ladies--do something you love.

Happy New Year to you all! Today will be spent putting insulation in the floor of my new craft area. Not exactly "something I love" Jan, but it leads to me having a bigger craft room which I *will* love having!!!
